Hi, I'm Roger from Oklahoma and I invented SkaterTrainers to help people learn new tricks fast. I skated when I was a kid and after 25 years without a board I thought I'd try again. At first, I tried using a sidewalk crack to ollie, but I never landed back in the crack and the board would shoot out from under me causing me to fall and become discouraged. Next, I tried in the grass but I couldn't get the pop that I could on hard concrete. After some planning and research, SkaterTrainers were born. Finally I had a way to learn new tricks fast, increase my confidence, and practice without bailing on the trick before I even land it. Since we launched SkaterTrainers in 2013 people all over the world have been learning to skate faster with SkaterTrainer.

It's great, makes you more confident on practicing that trick that you're trying to figure out without worrying about slipping one way or the other. I bought these more for my seven-year-old son who has recently gotten into skating, but I gotta say, for my middle-aged Tinman body, I have found these to be a lot of fun too! I skated throughout the 80’s and 90’s as a kid through teen, but not much since, and when I got onto a board while taking my son out, my age and lack of skating for nearly two decades had more than caught up with me. Rather than potentially breaking my face trying to re-teach myself old tricks, I’ve been using these skate trainers in my living room and you can almost hear Celine Dion singing, “It’s all coming back it’s all coming back to me nnooowww…” The transition back to the street will be a lot smoother as it’s reinforcing the mechanics I once had. Oh and my son loves em too. But anyways back to ME… lol

First, let me say. . . I was an old school skater. I have a regular size deck and a longboard. However, I don't ride anymore. Currently, I am Paraplegic (not skateboard related) but I'm rehabbing. I use by boards for rehab. I stand on them, utilizing the SkaterTrainers, to balance myself while in between parallel bars. My boards don't go anywhere, so it's safe. The SkaterTrainers worked out well!

Bought this for my son and bought a pair for myself. I've never skated in over 30 years and it helped me to re-learn couple different flip tricks with ease. They work fine nothing wrong but I will say that rubber actually makes it more difficult for the little shredders to learn certain things. Any shuvit variation or 180s are nearly impossible. As an adult you can figure it out but it’s completely different then the actual trick feels. Which is kinda the whole point. But for stationary entry level Ollie’s it works fine. Save the cash - over tighten your wheel bolts. No more slip outs and doesn’t change the motion they’re learning

We got the Friend Pack for our boys for Christmas and they love them. With snow on the ground now we're only able to practice in the garage, but that is ok! With Skater Trainer they're working on tricks and balancing. This is their first time skating and it's helping so much. I'm 44 and was able to do my first ollie ever because of Skater Trainers.
