Do SkaterTrainers Really Work?

Is SkaterTrainer for beginners or advanced skateboarders?

SkaterTrainer skateboard wheel stoppers and training aids work if you are a beginning skateboarder or if you have some experience.

Will SkaterTrainers work with my skateboard and wheels?

Skatetrainer was made to work with modern trick skateboards (Popsicles).

Nearly all trick skateboards have wheels between 49 to 65 mm diameter (1.9 - 2.6 inches). SkaterTrainer skateboard wheel stoppers and training aids were designed to stretch around any of these wheel sizes and more. If you are concerned, most wheels have sizes printed on them. If the size has worn off, you can simply measure them...if they are about 2.0 inch diameter, then it will work. SkaterTrainer works with any width wheel.

Where can I use SkaterTrainers?

How many SkateTrainers do I get with one order?

Skateboard wheel stoppers and training aids come in a set of four, one for each wheel.

Are they durable / how long will they last?

SkaterTrainers are made from a specialty selected rubber for a combination of stretch and DURABILITY. This means our skateboard wheel stoppers and training aids can be installed and used for hundreds of skate sessions.

Can't I just practice in the grass?

You can practice in the grass, but it is not the same. Its not as predictable of a surface as hard floors. There is no pop on your ollies, the timing is different, the landing is different, the grass is often wet, which damages your skateboard, and you get dirt in your bearings.

Can't I just use a crack in the sidewalk?

Sidewalk and driveway cracks do work and are the partial inspiration for the SkaterTrainers. Cracks are great for holding your board in place, but its 98% certain that you will not land in the crack. Most falls occur when you land. SkaterTrainers are like cracks that attach to your wheels. So when you throw ollies, shove-its, kickflips, heelfips, etc, you land stable.

Will SkaterTrainer work with Longboards / Cruisers / Penny / Old School Wheels?

SkaterTrainer 2.0 works on Penny Boards and Old School Skateboard wheels. It works on smaller longboard wheels, with a max diameter of about 65 mm.

Are SkaterTrainers Patented?

SkaterTrainer does have extensive patent coverage and is a protected invention.  We several patents issued around the world, and many others pending, including in the US, China, Europe, Japan, Canada, and Australia.  SkaterTrainer is also an officially registered trademark. If you see anything other than our SkaterTrainer branding, it is probably a scam or an illegal low quality counterfeit.

Are the SkaterTrainers on Amazon the Official SkaterTrainers?

We do sell SkaterTrainers on Amazon.com, and other Amazon Sites.  Just make sure that they have "SkaterTrainer" listed as the brand to verify that they are high quality and Authentic.
